Can I Have Visitors During My Stay?
Request a CallbackAt Ocean Recovery, we understand how important it is to stay connected with loved ones during your treatment. Positive support from family and friends can play a crucial role in your recovery journey. That’s why we make arrangements for you to have visitors while still ensuring a structured, safe, and focused environment for all clients.
Regular Visiting Times
Typically, visiting hours take place every Sunday afternoon. This dedicated time allows you to reunite with your family or friends, providing an opportunity for them to see how well you’re progressing in your treatment. We believe these visits can help strengthen your support network and foster encouragement, which is key to a successful recovery.
Flexible Visit Arrangements
During the designated visiting hours, you are welcome to spend time with your loved ones either within the centre or, if you prefer, make arrangements to go outside with your family. Many of our clients enjoy taking a peaceful walk, grabbing a coffee, or simply spending quality time together in a relaxed setting. This flexibility ensures that you can maintain meaningful connections while also respecting the structure of your recovery program.
Visitor Guidelines and Safety Protocols
While we encourage visitors, it’s important that everyone follows specific guidelines to maintain a safe and supportive environment. Both you and your visitors must strictly avoid consuming or purchasing alcohol or drugs during your time together. Upon returning to the centre, you will undergo a routine check to ensure these guidelines have been adhered to. Any violation of this policy, such as the use of alcohol or drugs, could result in serious consequences, including termination of your treatment contract.
For the safety and well-being of all our clients, our centres reserve the right to deny entry to any visitor who is suspected of being under the influence of alcohol or drugs or who poses any risk to staff, clients, or other visitors. This policy ensures that we continue to maintain a secure and therapeutic environment for everyone in the centre.
Advance Notification and Confidentiality
To ensure a smooth visit, we kindly ask that you notify our team in advance about any planned visitors. This allows us to ensure that only your approved guests are granted access to the centre. We take client confidentiality and discretion very seriously, and these measures are in place to protect your privacy and that of your fellow clients.
Special Arrangements for Visits
While the usual visiting time is Sunday afternoon, we understand that not all families or friends may be able to visit during that specific time. If you need to arrange visits outside of the regular schedule, we encourage you to speak with a member of our team or the rehab manager. In certain circumstances, we may be able to accommodate special visit requests based on your treatment schedule and the availability of our team.
At Ocean Recovery, our goal is to ensure that your time here is both productive and supportive, and we strive to create an environment where family involvement can enhance your path to recovery while still prioritising your safety and the effectiveness of your treatment.
