During this, you will decide if you want to to move ahead with a residential rehabilitation with Ocean Recovery.
Admission Process
We will then begin to design the treatments and therapies we believe will be the best for you on your recovery journey. This will be done following your answers to our pre-admission questionnaire. This consists of information about our current physical and mental health, your family and social circumstance and your level of substance abuse.
You will then decide your admission day and you will be given all the information of what to bring and the date to arrive. We can assist with transport to our facility.
Detoxification
Once you arrive at Ocean Recovery your treatment will begin. You will benefit from 24/7 medical assistant should you need it. This is particularly important during the initial detoxification period when withdrawal symptoms occur. We will give you a combination of natural remedies and prescription medications to keep these withdrawal symptoms to a minimum.
It is very important that you detox in a safe environment with medical assistant because certain substances and severity of an addiction can cause issues that make an at-home detox very dangerous.

Alcohol Rehab
Alcohol Rehab is a crucial lifeline for individuals grappling with alcohol addiction. Addiction treatment programmes at Ocean Recovery provide a structured environment that combines medical supervision, counselling, and peer support to help individuals overcome their dependence on alcohol.
Alcohol addiction often requires rehab due to both its physical and psychological grip on individuals. Detoxification, a key component of alcohol rehab, helps manage the potentially life-threatening withdrawal symptoms that can occur when someone abruptly stops drinking, which is why we recommend recovering within a residential facility. Rehab also offers therapies and coping strategies to address the underlying emotional and psychological triggers that drive alcohol abuse.
Cocaine Rehab
Cocaine Rehab is essential for those who are under the influence of the powerful grip of this stimulant drug. Cocaine addiction can lead to severe physical and mental health issues, including heart problems and profound psychological distress. Rehab facilities for cocaine addiction employ evidence-based therapies to address cravings, teach healthy coping mechanisms, and rebuild individuals’ lives. The intense cravings and emotional volatility associated with cocaine withdrawal often necessitate the structured support offered by rehab programs.
Cannabis Rehab
Cannabis Rehab is designed for individuals who find themselves caught in a cycle of dependence on marijuana. While marijuana is considered less physically addictive than some other substances, it can still lead to significant psychological addiction. Rehab for cannabis addiction focuses on cognitive-behavioural therapy and motivational enhancement to help individuals break free from the habit. Some may require rehab to address underlying mental health issues that contribute to their cannabis use.
Prescription Drug Rehab
Prescription Drug Rehab serves as a vital resource for individuals battling addiction to prescription medications. The misuse of prescription drugs, including opioids and benzodiazepines, can have devastating consequences on one’s health and well-being.
These rehab programs offer medical supervision for detoxification, as well as comprehensive counselling to address both the physical and psychological aspects of addiction. The highly addictive nature of some prescription drugs underscores the necessity of rehab to ensure individuals receive the specialised care and support needed for recovery.
Aftercare
Before you have completed your residential rehabilitation, we will plan an aftercare plan so you can return home confident that you can maintain all the progress you have achieved with us.
When designing your aftercare plan, we take a range of factor into consideration:
- The client’s age
- The sex of the client
- The addiction
- Typical client behaviours
- The client’s medical history
- The social environment
- The professional/work environment
- History of the client’s rehabilitation
You will also have access to a 24/7 helpline. So, if you are struggling beyond what your aftercare plan covers, we are available to support you and help you access additional help. This team make the difference between a successful recovery and relapse, especially in the months following the rehab treatment. If clients relapse or are very tempted, our support team will provide advice to help ensure the recovery continues.
