How Do We Treat Drug and Alcohol Addiction?
Drug and alcohol addiction can be complex and is difficult to overcome physically and emotionally. Often residents who come for treatment at our rehab centre are vulnerable and in need of intensive treatment, but this can be a daunting prospect if you are unsure of what rehab entails.
The first step of residential treatment is detox, which ensures that the substance is completely removed from your system. This can take 5+ days and can be difficult is withdrawal symptoms are experienced, which is why our medical addiction recovery staff are on hand to administer any medication to ease symptoms.
Therapy is the next step in treatment, as the psychological element of addiction needs to be tackled in order to make a full and long term recovery. A multitude of therapy treatments are offered, and therapy styles may differ for individuals dependent on their needs.
Aftercare and relapse prevention are provided to ensure that sobriety is maintained long after rehab treatment at our facility. Our main goal is to ensure that you make a full recovery and return home from our centre as a happier and healthier individual.
