Our CQC-registered cocaine rehab treatment starts with a confidential assessment, then through to a medically supported detox, and continues with therapy and aftercare, which is available to you for a year after your inpatient treatment with us ends.
Characterised as a Class A controlled substance in the United Kingdom, cocaine is a highly addictive illicit substance, and abuse can lead to cocaine addiction.
Cocaine rehab is a structured programme we provide which helps you recover from cocaine addiction. It has three parts:
Cocaine addiction is mainly psychological. Detox alone is rarely enough, because the cravings, the triggers and the habits that built up around use are still there afterwards. A residential cocaine rehab centre gives you time away from those triggers to work on them.

Cocaine addiction can start quietly, and signs that addiction is developing can look different depending on the person. However, there are some physical, psychological and behavioural signs that are common indicators that misuse may be leading to dependency.

Start your Recovery - Call us nowCocaine Rehab at Ocean Recovery means staying at our clinic. Your plan is built around you and moves at a pace that suits you too. We admit adults aged 18 and over, whether that be privately or referred through statutory services.
Please note that the information provided below is a generalised overview, as addiction treatment at cocaine rehab often requires a personalised approach, tailored to the unique needs of the individual.
You, a loved one or a healthcare professional can give us a call. We talk about your situation in a private assessment and discuss your health at the moment and what you’re hoping to get from your time with us.
When you arrive, we review your medical, psychological and physical health needs to make sure we’re covering everything, including any medically managed detox requirements. Our care plan is usually put together within 1 to 2 days of you arriving at the clinic.
Detox is the first step in your treatment. Our nurses will work with you to make sure you’re safe through the detox process. If you need psychiatric input, we can arrange that for you too.
Once you’re feeling more stable, you’ll spend most of your time with us attending therapy sessions, which might look like:
We’ll also work on building your coping skills, helping you find daily activities that mean something to you and introducing you to some more holistic approaches like art therapy.
We’ll work with you to come up with an aftercare plan, and we provide ongoing support for up to 12 months post completion of a 28-day programme. This usually includes going to a weekly group with other people who have been through the programme, as well as practical support like links to sober living and community groups.
Cocaine and mental health problems often go hand in hand. Cocaine can bring on anxiety, paranoia and low mood, and people who already live with depression, anxiety, trauma or bipolar disorder sometimes use it to cope. When an addiction and a mental health condition exist together, it is called dual diagnosis.
We look for this during admission and treat both together, because treating one without the other makes lasting recovery harder. We build your care plan case by case.
When we believe specialist input would be helpful, we also arrange for a psychiatric assessment, and we have regular team meetings – usually weekly – to check on how you’re doing and whether there are any new risks we need to be aware of – and that lets us adjust your plan on the go.
Our therapy incorporates CBT-based thinking and trauma-informed care – but we can also include other approaches which may be valuable with a dual diagnosis. That includes DBT (which is a more in-depth version of CBT, designed to help people manage really overwhelming emotions) and Schema Therapy, if we think that would be helpful.
