Our staff are at the heart of everything we do at Ocean Recovery. You have 24/7 support from our recovery team during your difficult detox process and have access to medical addiction specialists during your therapy rehab treatment. We also have a Doctor available to prescribe you any medications if you are struggling with hard-to-manage withdrawal symptoms.
Many of our staff have previously experienced addiction themselves, which makes them extremely equipped to handle your concerns and provide you with advice and support. It is comforting to witness what can be achieved once you have recovered from addiction.
Clinical Team
At Ocean Recovery we pride ourselves on our excellent clinical delivery and ensure that all clients receive the best possible clinical assessment and prescription treatments.
We have access to a range of specialist consultants, doctors and recovery nurses who are experienced in the management and treatment of substance misuse and mental health disorders.
At Ocean Recovery, our team includes two specialist Doctors who have extensive experience in the treatment of addictions. They are supported by our dedicated Registered Manager, who also has a wealth of experience in the addiction field.
On the day of your admission, one of our healthcare professionals will complete a detailed clinical and psychological assessment of your needs. This will influence the full clinical treatment plan that is tailor-made for you and will ensure your prescription and treatment is suitable for your personalised therapy programme.
This initial assessment will ensure that your detox programme is managed as safely and as comfortably as possible. Our medical recovery team are available 24/7 to manage and support you whilst you experience withdrawal symptoms during your first few days of detox in our care.
Our expert team will continue to monitor your detoxification daily and ensure that your physical and mental health is stable. Our team aims to ensure that you achieve the best and safest detoxification possible from drugs or alcohol in our centre.

Our Recovery Workers are dedicated experts in the field of addiction and addiction treatments. All our Recovery Workers have extensive experience in the delivery of treatment and interventions for addictions and some have specialist subject areas that may suit your exact needs during your treatment.
We will aim to match you to the right dedicated worker during your stay who works closely with you to develop and monitor your detailed Recovery Action Plan which has been built around your needs.
Each week, your Recovery Worker will ensure that you meet for a one-to-one discussion about the excellent progress you are making on your Recovery Plan. These sessions will help you review what you have achieved so far, you will plan your next steps, organise your therapies and start to develop a relapse prevention plan in preparation for your discharge home.
Our Recovery Support Workers are committed to ensuring that your stay with us is packed with support for you. Our dedicated support workers are on duty every day and will ensure that all your daily needs are being met. They will also support you with a large range of practical matters and can help you with your personal care needs.
Each of our support workers is an integral member of the team and will support your daily medication and health needs, whilst ensuring that you are able to enjoy the most comfortable stay and make the most of our facilities.
Care At Rehab
Excellent Housekeeping and Laundry are essential in all our facilities. Our dedicated team of housekeeping staff ensure that the highest standards are maintained in your environment each day, which enables you to focus on your recovery in a safe and clean environment.
We are committed to ensuring that our facilities reflect our respect and care for you and that you are able to focus solely on your treatment and recovery, without having to worry about cleaning or laundry.
Addiction can create a huge toll on your body, which is why diet and nutrition are extremely important aspects of your treatment. Our experienced Chefs and Catering staff will provide you with excellent, high quality and home-cooked food each day, and they can cater to any specific dietary requirements you may have to accommodate for any cultural or medical needs.
Using a range of locally sourced products, our freshly prepared meals are served three times a day with a varied daily menu displayed each day. The team will also ensure that there is always a fresh supply of fruit, hot and cold refreshments, as well as snack bars which are available throughout the day.

Each of our medical specialists is booked to visit our centre each week. Your Recovery Worker will ensure that beneficial therapies for you are organised into your weekly timetable.
