If you feel that you’re ready to commit to drug and alcohol rehabilitation, just give us a call today on 01253 847553. One of our skilled addiction specialists can talk you through the process and answer any further questions you may have on our rehab centre.
We will then follow this up with a phone assessment which is there to allow us to find out more about you and the severity of your addiction. This helps us to tailor an appropriate treatment programme to suit your unique needs, therefore giving you the best chance of achieving long-term recovery.
In most cases of addiction to alcohol or drugs, we recommend a visit to our medically assisted detox clinic. This detoxification flushes all of the toxins from your body and makes the following treatments even more effective. We strongly advise against attempting any form of detox without the supervision of medical professionals. It can be extremely dangerous, potentially life-threatening if not managed correctly, particularly when withdrawal symptoms occur.
We’re there to help support you through this and to prescribe medication to ease the symptoms if required. After completing a detox, you will be more prepared to continue your treatment programme at our rehab in Gainsborough.

Mental Health and Addiction to Alcohol or Drugs
At our drug and alcohol treatment centre we’ve helped so many people overcome addiction and start new, healthy lives. However, addiction is still prevalent throughout the UK and continues to be a growing concern. In 2017, there were over 3,000 deaths in England and Wales which were related to drug poisoning according to the Office for National Statistics. This is far too many, we’re doing our best to help as many people as we can realise the destruction that alcohol or drugs can cause.
More often than not, mental health and addiction go hand in hand. Many people attempt to self-medicate a mental health issue, consequently becoming addicted to their medication. In our industry, we use the term ‘dual diagnosis’ for individuals who are suffering from mental health problems and addiction to alcohol or drugs. We’re experienced in helping those suffering with co-occurring disorders and have many effective treatments to support you through rehabilitation.
Perhaps you’re concerned that a friend or family member is struggling with addiction? It’s quite common for addicts to hide their addiction as best they can as there is still a stigma attached to it. Most likely they won’t believe that they have a problem which needs addressing. It’s vital that you convince them, or yourself, to seek help before the addiction causes serious health problems which can’t be reversed.
What Treatment Options Do We Offer?
In addition to detoxification, we also provide therapy and support group sessions which can include cognitive behavioural therapy, one-to-one sessions, and a variety of holistic therapies such as sleep management, acupuncture, and music therapies. We personalise your programme to include what will benefit your unique situation most. We’re here to give you constant support and provide you with the tools you need to utilise different coping mechanisms; these are especially helpful if you ever felt like you were going to relapse.
Our advanced treatment services are designed to make sure you achieve your recovery goals. Using a combination of group and individual therapy sessions and a mix of traditional and holistic therapies, we can begin to help you heal and understand the cause of your addiction.
At our rehab in Gainsborough, we offer advice, support and education to each individual who chooses to embark on their recovery journey with us. Our medical specialists are trained to deliver psychological therapies such as trauma & abuse counselling, motivational interviewing, bereavement counselling, relapse prevention, family interventions and meditation therapy.
These treatments are highly effective however, we do find that when they’re combined with a mix of holistic therapies, they produce even greater results. The more non-traditional therapies that we deliver at our treatment centre include art, drama and music therapies, Indian head and full body massage, relaxation and sleep therapy, mindfulness and body scan, low level laser therapy and diet and nutritional supplement therapy.
Even during your downtime, we make sure that you have fun, social activities to engage in with people in similar situations to yourself. We arrange daily group walks or beach runs, quiz or film nights and of course family visits should you wish to.
If you’re ready to turn your life around for the better, call us today on 01253 847 553 or text HELP to 83222. We can help you live a life free from alcohol or drugs.
