What Does Your Admissions Process Consist Of?
The thought of having to participate in a lengthy admissions process can be somewhat daunting, especially when it comes to addiction treatment.
It can also cause many to feel uncomfortable as they believe that they will be subject to questions that they may find intolerable.
To help put you at ease, we have outlined our admissions process below.
Initial Enquiry
As and when you are ready to contact us, our admissions coordinators will be on the other end of the phone to answer any questions you may have. They will also be able to help you navigate any concerns that have arisen regarding addiction treatment.
As it is not uncommon for those suffering from addictions to attempt to keep their internal battles a secret, our admissions coordinators can also help you plan how to tell your loved ones about your addiction.
Pre-Admission Screening
Upon making your initial enquiry, you will be invited to participate in a pre-admission screening. This screening is relatively simple and is often carried out over the phone within 20 minutes.
If you would prefer to conduct your pre-admission screening in person, please let us know so that we can cater to your needs.
The screening consists of completing a questionnaire that will ask you various questions regarding your health, the substance you have become addicted to, the length of time you have been addicted to a substance and the symptoms you have experienced.
Your pre-admission screening will be confidential. The information you provide will only be used to determine the treatment that you require.
Once your pre-admission screening is complete, you will once again have the ability to ask any questions you may have.
Admission Day
Upon determining the severity of your addiction and the treatment that you require, a suitable admission day will be provided.
As you prepare to enter rehab, you are bound to feel a wealth of emotions. You will feel anxious and nervous about rehabilitation. Still, as you step through our doors, you will feel as if a weight has been lifted from your shoulders.
Upon entering our centre, a member of our recovery team will be on hand to welcome you. They will show you around our facilities, direct you to your private bedroom and help you to settle in. They will also discuss the treatment process with you.
Again, if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask. We want to ensure that you have all of the information that you need to make your stay with us as comfortable and pleasant as possible.

Clinical and Recovery Plan Assessment
Although the word assessment may cause you to feel apprehensive, our clinical and recovery plan assessment is nothing to fear.
This stage provides our recovery team and medical professionals with the opportunity to gain a much deeper understanding of your addiction, your life at home and your health.
In doing so, these factors will enable us to create your bespoke recovery plan. This recovery plan will be unique to you and will outline the treatment that you will be subject to. It will also offer you the ability to celebrate milestones and review your progress.
Throughout the admissions process, and your treatment, it is imperative that you are honest with us. We know that discussing your addiction and the factors that have caused you to suffer from an addiction can be strenuous. Still, it truly is in your best interest.
The information you provide will determine the treatment you are offered. If you downplay your addiction, you may not receive the treatment that you need to overcome your addiction once and for all. This may cause you to relapse in the future.
Why Attend Our Residential Rehab?
As you come around to the idea of attending rehab, your initial thoughts may be to look for a drug and alcohol rehab in Great Yarmouth.
Although a rehab in Great Yarmouth will be able to cater to your needs and help you overcome your addiction, seeking support further from home may be in your best interest.
While you may not feel this is necessary, various factors such as home life, work and stress that you are unable to escape can contribute to the emergence of an addiction.
Although you will be away from your loved ones as you undergo treatment for your addiction, entering a rehab further afield will offer you the chance to remove yourself from your everyday life as you recover from your addiction.
Residential rehab will also provide you with around the clock care and all of the amenities that you may need during your stay.
We understand that you may be hesitant about leaving your loved ones. Still, it is essential to consider that recovering from your addiction will benefit them too.
