The value of rehab programmes is the same as the value of your health.

It is an investment in your future and recovery that can help you overcome your alcoholism or drug addiction and prevent further substance abuse.

Through alcohol rehab, you will have access to top quality services and facilities that can provide you with the care you need.

We understand at Ocean Recovery that the cost of Rehab can put some people off. But we want to assure you that there will always be options available to you. We offer a wide range of treatment options that can help you with your alcohol addiction and give you a more manageable bill you will expect to pay.

Private Admissions

When you are looking for an alcohol rehab centre, you will have the option to seek private rehab and treatment. This can be a very good option for someone who can afford it. Many find it a much less stressful experience that allows them to focus on their recovery much more than the none private option. Private admissions also have the benefit of a much easier admissions process. It is not uncommon for those suffering from an alcohol addiction to feel embarrassed or ashamed of their struggles.

Nowadays, seeking help for alcohol addiction is more accepted than ever with a private admission option. A family member or employer can request a referral. Many people who already feel anxious about checking themselves into an alcohol rehab centre do not need the added stress that, unfortunately, tends to come from the none private options.

Unfortunately, due to the high demand and the lack of funding and resources, none private alcohol rehab centres, including NHS-run facilities, can only prioritise the most severe cases. This leads to issues like long waiting lists. You would also have to prove that you are living with alcohol addiction, a process that many find too hard. After months of waiting and finding proof in appointment after appointment, you may still not get access to the treatment you need.

However, if you were lucky enough to be approved, you would be placed back on the waitlist and have no choice but to wait for a space to open up. The facility you are referred to may also not be local to you and will, more often than not, only provide you with an outpatient treatment plan.

While many people prefer outpatient, the lack of a choice and the need to travel for every appointment can put people off. In comparison, a private rehab centre will do absolutely everything to ensure you receive one to one care as fast as possible. You will be treated as the individual you are and prioritised based on your needs, not everyone else’s.

The Admissions Process

The private admissions process for Ocean Recovery has been designed for ease of use and with your needs in mind.

The admissions process begins with a simple conversation between you and a member of our admissions team. This can be done over the phone or by email, depending on your preferences and needs.

This conversation is also known as an initial assessment and is free. It helps give our team members an idea of your experience with addiction and alcohol rehab. There are also there to answer any questions you may have about the rehabilitation process and various payment options.

You will then be referred to one of our many alcohol rehab centres across the UK so that you can begin your treatments as soon as possible.

Before You Arrive

Before you arrive, you should prepare yourself for the stay you have booked. This includes packing and getting your affairs in order.

You have no obligation to tell anyone that you seek help for an addiction. Some people prefer to say they are going away for medical treatment. However, it can be beneficial for your recovery if you have a strong support network that can help support you when you leave the rehab centre. This could be a friend or family member who you trust.

It is also absolutely essential that you don’t binge drink as a last hurrah, as this can be dangerous for your health. This is especially true if you have decided upon an at-home detox before your residential rehab stay.

It can be incredibly dangerous to return to alcohol abuse following a detox. It is also very dangerous to attempt to begin the detox yourself as you could easily begin to experience withdrawal symptoms.

Health Insurance

If you or the company you work for provides private health insurance, be sure to check over the policy as it may be able to cover your stay in an alcohol rehab centre.

This can take the pressure off what you will expect to pay when you can instead focus on your treatment plan.

NHS Funding

NHS funding is an option for private rehab centres. However, there is not much of this funding available, so it may be a difficult process to go through. However, it offers the best of both worlds as it gives you access to a private facility with all of or some of the costs covered.

Rehab Treatment Costs

The cost of your treatments is determined by the length of your stay and treatments. For example, it is cheaper to do an at-home detox than to stay residentially. A group room will also cost less than a private room.

The length of stay depends on your preference and your needs. A stay at any drug or alcohol rehab centre is about a month, with ten days allotted for the detox. At Ocean Recovery, we want to make alcohol rehab accessible to everyone. So know that you have options available to you. No matter your income, you will be able to achieve long term recovery.
